Dr. Ryan P. Fritsch hails from Wisconsin, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. He later earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry, solidifying his commitment to providing exceptional eye care.
Dr. Fritsch's professional interests lie in primary care and low vision optometry. He is an active member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians,The American Optometric Association, and Middle Tennessee Optometric Physicians, staying at the forefront of advancements in his field.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Fritsch finds fulfillment in teaching his patients about their eyes and vision during their visits, ensuring all questions are thoroughly answered. Dr. Fritsch focuses on specialty contact lenses and myopia management, aiming to mitigate nearsightedness from an early age.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Fritsch enjoys woodworking, fishing, and spending quality time with his children. His dedication to both his professional and personal pursuits reflects his commitment to comprehensive patient care and a balanced lifestyle.

Dr. Amber Fritsch, a proud graduate of Mt. Juliet High School, embarked on her journey in optometry with a BS in Biology from Belmont University. Her passion for eye care led her to earn her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Indiana University, where she honed her expertise in various aspects of vision care. Dr. Amber's professional interests encompass a wide spectrum, including children's vision, pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgery, and the management of dry eye syndrome.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Amber is deeply involved in advancing optometric care in Middle Tennessee. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and she serves as the president of the Middle Tennessee Optometric Physician's Society and completed the American Optometric Association's Leadership Institute in 2023. Her advocacy extends to community education, emphasizing the importance of regular comprehensive eye exams as part of overall health care.
Dr. Amber Fritsch is dedicated to ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care while advocating for the crucial role of optometric physicians in healthcare. Her goal is to empower individuals to prioritize their eye health and seek annual eye exams for optimal vision and overall well-being.
